About Me

I'm the school librarian at G.S. Lakie Middle School. As you can see - me, reading and comfy chairs go way back. I still enjoy Asterix and many other graphic novels. My main reason for blogging is for reviewing books for the students and anyone else that might be interested in YA literature.

100 Cupboards

100 Cupboards by N.D. Wilson Book 1
Twelve-year old Henry York wakes up one night to find bits of plaster in his hair. Two nobs have broken through the wall above his bed and one of them is slowly turning ... Henry scrapes the plaster off the wall and discovers cupboards of all different sizes and shapes. Through one he can hear the sound of falling rain. Through another he sees a glowing room - with a man pacing back and forth. Henry soon understands that these are not just cupboards, but portals to other worlds.
100 cupboards is the first book in the trilogy, it is followed by Dandelion Fire (Book 2) and The Chesnut King (Book 3).
Here's the book trailer.
